In the movie Serendipity, i always remember the moment where they were actually being tested by fate. The one started by the black glove. The book being given away, the dollar bill where Sara wrote her name. The elevator scene wherein they hit the same floor but they never saw each other in the end because other people boarded the guy's elevator. Another moment would be the skating scenario in Central Park where the Cassiopeia star was mentioned.

It’s Alien when it bursts out of Kane’s chest. It was so realistic, they way the crew were all just chatting rather than repeating lines, and then all he’ll broke loose. John Hurt was an amazing actor.

I also loved the bit in Alien when Ripley refuses to open the doors, despite receiving a direct command from the captain. What a woman!

All I can think of are notable deaths!

Anna and the King when the concubine and her lover are executed.
The Last of the Mohicans when Alice Munro jumps off the cliff after Uncas is killed.
The Last Samurai (2003) when Katsumoto dies.

I don't know if we are counting TV shows, but the finale of Six Feet Under where it shows the future deaths of all the characters and "Breathe Me" is playing.

Pitch black at the start when the ship is crashing and the pilot is jettisoning different parts of the ship. Nail biting stuff.

Likewise... there are certainly so many, but if I can share two memorable scenes: 1. Pretty Woman, the very moment Richard Gere (Edward Lewis) and Julia Roberts (Vivian Ward) fell in love and 2. A Few Good Men, when Jack Nicholson (Base Commander Colonel Nathan Jessup) and Tom Cruise (Daniel Kaffee, lawyer) spared off in the court room. Those long-lasting words, "you can't handle the truth", without question sticks with me.
And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. (Revelation 20:12 (NKJV) :reading-7:

The final interview scene between PK and Tapasvi from the Hindi film PK. The moment where the actress realised get folly literally had me in tears. It shows how we categorise people and make presumptions about them this leading to distrust or lack of trust.

Definitely not the type of scene everybody else is talking about but it popped into my head and I have to say it (although there are more touching ones that I can think of as well). I love the scene towards the end of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets where Lucius says, "let us hope that mr. Potter will always be around to save the day." And little Harry responds with "don't worry, I will be." Knowing that cute little Daniel Radcliffe improvised that makes it even better.

The final scene in Saving Private Ryan when Ryan is at Miller's grave always sticks with me. It shows how one person can have a life long impression on another.

The line from the movie Notting Hill of Anna Scot played by Julia Roberts and When she said to William played by Hugh Grant " I am just a girl standing infront of a boy asking him to love her" that was a romantic scene ever.

In the movie 'Authur, The legend of the Sword'. An ending scene where authur refused to give the vikings what they wanted but while requesting for respect... And after they obeyed only for him to give the best quote ever.... 'Why have enemies when you can have friends'.. Loved that quote and that scene.

In the movie "Titanic", I shed tears everytime I watch the scene where Rose released Jack's hand... and Jack's lifeless body slowly descended to the bottomless sea.

Usually it's the musical part in romatic scenes like the Rewrite the Stars in The Greatest Showman and Only Hope in A Walk to Remember. The songs are good and the actors' acting skills are really sweet and romantic.
