The lord of the rings is amazing. I loved gollum and frodo and sam.
We're all puppets, Laurie. I'm just a puppet who can see the strings - Doctor Manhattan.

When Aragorn was about to throw Gimli to fight the Uruk-hai and Gimli said "Don't tell the elf." :lol2: I liked Legolas's and Gimli's friendship too, both in the book and in the movie.

I love the movie . Lord of the Ring. The way the movie is structured. The role played by Most of the Character like Sam, Gandoft etc. I dislike the roles played by Smigo even the way most of the scene are dragged. The movie is amazhng and i enjoy it

I like the Lord of the Rings movies better than the books. My favorite is the first movie. I have watched it many times. I love the hobbit village and Bilbo's birthday party.

I love this series, I totally believe it is a legend.
My favourite two movies are the first and second, I have no boredom from watching them millions of times.
Think outside of the books.

well, the extended editions I think are for people who read the book. For me, the extended editions are not dull because it showed some parts from the book. :tiphat:

My favorite part is actually everything in the movie. But if i have to pick, it would be the battle of helm's deep. and of course, Smaug.

I never did read the books, but saw all the movies and loved them! One of my favorite scenes that comes to mind is when everyone thought Gandolf (?) is dead, but he reappears as Gandolf the white.

I have to admit that the books were difficult to read due to the long descriptions but the descriptions made the books all the more magical. I found that the description of Rivendell was so vivid that I felt as though I was sharing the experience with the characters. I felt that the movie did not justify the book's description of Rivendell.

I have watched all of the movies numerous times and I love them. I love the adventurous aspect and the camaraderie of the fellowship. I also especially appreciated the humour that is brought into the films to add some comic relief to the movies. I, however, was annoyed by the long and drawn out scenes of Frodo staring at the ring.

These are movies that have something for everyone: action, adventure, comedy, some nail-biting moments and even some romance.
