Little Dorrit and Bleak House. After I watched each series I really wanted to read the novels.

I recently saw the movie version of Warm Bodies and absolutely loved it. I would be really interested in see the way that the author connects the reader to the main character which is a zombie as it completely subverts the usual conventions of a zombie book. Instead of simply trying to survive, the main character is trying to cope with his loss of humanity and the new feelings he has gained from eating brains.

What usually happens when I read a book before I see the movie is that it becomes a dissapointment, that is why I am trying movies first so that I get a surprise with the book and begin to understand things that they inevitably left out of the film.

Stephen King's The Dark Tower. I actually greatly enjoyed the movie, but later, I heard complaints about the character portrayals, how the movie didn't touch on certain parts/aspects of the book, etc. If I enjoyed the movie so much on its own, I thought I might really enjoy the book.

I haven't yet gotten to reading it, but it's something I'm keeping in mind for the future.

One of the movies I saw more recently that made me want to read the book (or in this case series) was Mortal Engines. I still haven't got around to reading it, but hopefully soon!

I actually saw the movie The Giver before I read the book. And it really made me want to read the book! The movie was just so beautiful.

Jurassic Park is what made me pick up an adult fiction despite my young age at the time of its release, been a Crichton fan ever since.

I know it's cliche but the Divergent series (films) made me think that the book had to be pretty good. I enjoyed the films and knew that the book had to be better, of course. It actually kick-started me back into my reading problem!

Me too! I was too young to read the Harry Potter books when they came out, and once I was introduced to the movies, I was hooked!

I read Good Omens after watching the TV series. I might not like the style of writing from the book, but I still love the characters in both mediums.

I Am Legend. That ending in the movie seriously sucked I had to read the book just to make up for it. The book's ending was so much better.

I really enjoyed the movie Nerve and it made me want to read the book it was based on. I was actually disappointed in the book, though. The movie told a much more entertaining storyline and the characters were more likable in the movie.

However, Pitch Perfect made me want to read the book it was really loosely based on, which was a nonfiction in-depth look into the world of acapella and I loved it! It was really fascinating to not only learn about college acapella but to find parallels from the true stories to the movie.
