Be it books, films, music, or any other form of entertainment I primarily love the romance genre. Fantasy and supernatural come in next.

I like a variety of genres, my preferences for movie genres differ much from what I like in books.
For movies I usually prefer slice of life, thriller, action, and romance genres. As for books I mostly prefer sci-fi, dystopian, and cyberpunk genres. For both movies and books, mystery and investigation are certainly my more favored types of genres.

It's difficult to choose just one favorite genre. I love science fiction, fantasy, adventure.

I usually enjoy fantasy, sci-fi, and historical fiction. I'd really love to experience any genres, but it's about finding the right book. For example, I read a thriller that I absolutely hated and haven't picked up another from that genre since. I'd love to take in as much as I can!

The preferences are different. I do not like to read a book that is too much into fiction and yet I can watch a movie on it if with friends. In the same way, some of them such as the genres on religion and historical fiction are works that I can read or watch.

I've just realized that my tastes don't always line up, thanks to this question. For instance, I love action movies and fantasy films, but reading about them in some novels is a chore. I also suppose my manga reads versus my anime watching kinda clash. Sometimes though, I read and watch the same, like Me Before You, GoT etc.

we all have different taste of genre, but most of the teenagers love the work of fiction with a little bit of romance because they tend to apply it to their life and they can easily adapt to the concepts

I think I watch and read in the same and different genre. I love reading spiritual fiction and non-fiction. Movies like Left Behind and The Rapture....I am drawn to. But I also love comedies but I don't like to read them. I don't ever remember reading a comedy novel. I just don't have interest in them.
