yes, because book tells you everything about a story, unlike a movie that state's only important scenes.

I like to read/view both - however definitely not in the case of Jaws 1.... just stick to the movie.

I prefer reading a book before seeing the movie.
When reading a book, I picture the characters’ look, personality and lifestyle. Movies rarely, if ever, cast the person that I have imagined and I find it difficult to sit through the move because of this. Books are able to go into much more detail where as movies leave out parts, to me, that are important aspects of the book.

It is interesting that you comment about the movie cast sometimes not being quite what you imagined. Have you ever had occasions where you sit there ruminating during the movie because the person who is playing one particular character annoys you and you get annoyed that they are even in the movie?

. where as book will make out brain to work. It depends on purpose which will be best

Absolutely! I’ve walked out of 1 movie because the character was so far off and in my opinion, a bad actor to boot.

I prefer to watch the movie instead of me reading a book. Sometimes the movies are better so you can see what is really happening and you can related to your daily life. 😉

I prefer books over movies, although I don’t have any objections towards watching movies first before reading the book.

I’m surprised that there are so many that prefer a movie first. Maybe I’ll give it a go because then I’ll have a vision of characters prior to reading the book. Food for thought.

I'd somehow like to read the story first. I chose it because it gives me more details in the characters feelings , thoughts and actions. Plus , I like to imagine about each scenes in the book then I'll watch the movie after.😊
