Well my wish is coming true it seems with Netflix deciding to televise The Witcher series. Loved both the books and the games. Can't wait.

I agree, "if done right" !Kat Kennedy wrote:I hesitate to say this, but if done right, I would love to see Catcher in the Rye made into a movie. I recently read that Jerry Lewis tried to buy the rights and wanted to plat Holden. I can't imagine what that would have been like!

Agreed. Part of me can see where Salinger was coming from, but I also think he was maybe a bit arrogant. A while back there was a series here in the UK about 'Hundred best books of the Century' or something along those lines, and the makers were sued because, during a discussion of 'Catcher' they even showed a really brief non-specific montage of a kid walking a city street. I would also like to see the rest of the 'His Dark Materials' series made into a movie, as I think the adaptation of 'Northern Lights'/The Golden Compass was actually under-rated and suffered from being in competition with the Harry Potter movies.Kat Kennedy wrote:I hesitate to say this, but if done right, I would love to see Catcher in the Rye made into a movie.
