Maybe the superhighway book, if I'm getting the name correct.

I want more well-done epic fantasy adaptations that show us new colorful worlds, breathtaking battles between good and evil and make kids enjoy that genre again. It's a bit tilted fandom towards comic-based action movies and Star Wars now and I love them both dearly too but would be fun to experience some old-school fantasy movie magic again.

My own stories.

Jokes aside, I would love another attempt at The Makioka Sisters, since I didn't like any of the older adaptations.

I love all things James Rollins and think they would make amazing summer blockbusters with all the action and amazing scenery. My favorite that I really want to become a movie, maybe because it's the first I read by him, is "Amazonia." However, supposedly the rights have been bought and they've tapped a screen writer to adapt "Map of Bones", the second of his Sigma Force series, so I'm excited for that. Unfortunately, that was about two years ago and IMDb still has 0 info on it, so I feel like it's going to end up dead in the water like Christopher Moore's "Stupidest Angel".

I'd love to see Carloz Ruiz Zafon's quadrilogy 'The Cemetery of Forgotten Books' filmed.
The author turned down several times such offers and I think that he had the right to do so.
As we all know, in 9 out of 10 cases the movie adaptations ruin the book.

I have read alot of the Harlequin Romance Novels Editions and probably a few of them should be reviewed and turned into movies. A must read also, for those who like to read Romance Novels. 👍😄

I'm going to say the Percy Jackson series. I refuse to consider those already out as a proper adaption. I know the second movie was better, but not by very much.

I was hoping The Snowman by Jo Nesbo would be made into a movie, but now that it has been I haven’t seen it because of the terrible reviews. Maybe I should just let the book be my last memory of it.

I want Linda Howard books to be made into a movie most especially, Mr. Perfect. It will make a nice crime, psychology, thriller, drama.

AmeliaLovesBooks wrote: 16 May 2017, 21:32 The Count of Monte Cristo- THE REAL BOOK. The 2002 movie of the book was loosely based on the story. That book really needs to have a movie with ALL the characters. Maybe even a mini-series on Masterpiece theatre.
Count of Monte Cristo was a very good book but I thought the movie has already been made I haven't seen it though.
