I loved that one pirates movie.... ummm..... the one where there were mermaids and they had vampire fangs! I don't know what the movie is called, that part stood out and forever melted my heart. (I'm not sure why...)

The 1st and the 3rd ones are my favorite Pirates of the Caribbean movies. There is something about those two movies that should make the themes really dark, but Disney tries its best to make the movies accessible to everyone, and still make them really impactful. Or am I alone in this?

I loved the Pirate of the Caribbean series, however, I have not seen the final one as yet. For the mere fact that it will be the last one, ( A moment of silence please) hence I am saving this beautiful work of art for a special occasion. I really can't believe that I will never see the endeavours of Jack Sparrow again. :crying-yellow:

Black Pearl and World's End are my favourites. I have seen the entire series quite a few times and love it. Captain Jack and Captain Barbossa are my favourite characters. I was so sad with Barbossa's fate in the last movie!

I have watched and re-watched all Pirates of the Carribean movie series and my favorite of all is #1 ~ #3. At World's End is great but not quite as captivating as the others though it's humorous at some points. But for latest Dead Men Tells No Tale, I must say I did get bored watching it. Sure its full of action but it does not give impact and intrigued me as the previous films had. I found myself playing games while watching it online.

I loved "The Curse of the Black Pearl" because it was fresh and started it all. The last movie, "Dead Men Tell No Tales," was also very good. I liked the flashbacks to the young Jack Sparrow, giving us a glimpse into his history for the first time. I loved the addition of Javier Bardem, such a talented actor and his role was awesome. But, the two things that were truly lacking for me were the Orlando Bloom (who only had a bit part) & Keira Knightley (whose cameo was even smaller) roles. Their love story and the trio dynamic between them and Johnny Depp was always enjoyable to watch. But, Depp as Jack Sparrow is always entertaining, his best character in a long list of memorable roles.

As much as I love Johnny Depp and the majority of movies that he is in, I did not find myself totally engrossed
and enjoy the POTC franchise. Maybe, I might change my mind with future installments, but not now...

The first two movies were the best. Dead man tell no tales was the best one by far. The fourth movie and beyond are just old and boring.

Hey, wait a minute. WE cannot say yet that there will be no upcoming sequels. In the movie industry, nothing is final. Even the dead will find a way to make a comeback.
