In my opinion, The Black Pearl and at World's End are tied for first because they are hilarious and still quite impacting.
I love all of them. The Fountain of Youth was also great especially because of the mermaids. :D

This one of my favorite series ever. I enjoyed the first to the third part the most. After the third part, it just started getting hilarious which removed from the quality of the movie a bit.

The first one is my favorite. Honestly I am surprised they have been able to drag out the movies that are based off a ride for this long.

I think that the first movie in this series was my favorite, because the plot and characters were so new to me. With each movie that followed, I was a little less infatuated with Johnny Depp's pirate and really tired of Kierra Knightley (?) just standing around and making that same expression.

I have to agree the first pirates of the carribean will always be my favourite, but I still enjoy the others. Although I wish I had the opportunity to see them all, but I unfortunately never seem t9 be able to find the time.

I've only seen the first three, but I'm divided. While I think the first one was the best of the lot, I enjoyed the third one more. It was the culmination of everything that had come before in a way that was tight and led to the realisation of a lot of the worldbuilding that had come before It might seem obvious since it's the third film, but I think it's something that's worth noting because the second one stumbled with this a lot since it was such a hard shift away from the first.

The first 'pirates' movie was absolutely the best. Johnny Depp was perfect as Jack Sparrow, can't envision anyone else in that role.

The first one is my absolute favorite. I watched all the movies, but, somehow I didn't think any of them could recreate the magic of the first movie.
