"the rain. I'm tired of never having me a buddy to be with to tell me where we's going to, coming from, or why. Mostly, I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world...every day. There's too much of it. It's like pieces of glass in my head...all the time. Can you understand?"

YES. It doesn't matter how many times I watch it, this line takes my breath away every time. I have to go watch it again now that you've reminded me of it.

A similar movie quote that I love:
"But whatever I do with this cage, I cannot get at you, and it is your soul that I want. Why can't you come of your own free will?"

"In every moment, a choice exists. We can cling to the past or embrace the inevitability of change and allow a brighter future to unfold before us. Such an uncertain future may call for even uncertain allies. Either ways, a new day is coming. The question is, will you control it or will it control you?" - Klaus (The Originals)
