To be completely honest, I don't ..... It is rare that I read a book before watching its movie, kind of feels like doing the same thing twice

Me! I have always prioritised reading the book before watching the movie and often make an extra effort to do so.

Usually, I prefer to finish reading a book before watching the related movie. This is because I am always interested to assess how well the movie is adapted to the text.

Me! I like to read the book first and then watch the movie so that I can compare how I visualized the scenes in the book, and how another person depicted the book.

I do, it gives me the opportunity to have critical eye and really immerse myself in the film and its always interesting to see how other people managed to visualise certain aspects.

I almost always wait until I've read the book because once I've seen the film I will imagine the characters and settings the way they were portrayed in the film. By reading the book first I'm able to imagine everything myself. It's also much more endurable for me to watch a movie that I know the ending to, then it is to read a whole book knowing how everything happens.

I almost always prefer to read the book before the movie. The few times I see the movie first is if I did not know it was an adaptation or if the trailer is just so compelling, I can't wait to read the book before seeing the movie.

I have a tendency to be attracted to books that are adapted into movies, because I love to compare the two.
I also will not see a movie if I have not read the book first.

I started reading the Hunger Games and Twilight as well when the first movie came out for both franchises, and would not see the movie until I read the book. I've never seen a movie first, if I know it's been adapted from a book.

Sometimes i find a movie before i find out that movie was a book so i go and read the books and it is better actually because instead of going from high to low quality you go the other way around and avoid being disappointed :D

I like to finish the book before watching the film because it helps me understand the movie better. I had tried watching the movie before completing the book but was left questioning a few things that I wasn't able to understand.

Usually I don't care which I do first. I really would like to read Ready Player One before I see the movie though.

Ninety percent of the time I try my hardest to read the book before I see the movie. The way I see it if I read the book before the movie and the movie is horrible, I still have the great first impression of the book.
