I like the Christian in the movie but he’s so much more lenient in the movie than in the book. He shows himself more in the books than the movies. Although he is cute he’s not fully portrayed as how the author describes him in the book.

Christian in the book is described very well, i was excited to see who would play him. At first, i was disappointed, but the movie Christian grew on me, because i think he plays his character well. But book Christian is super hot :D

I preferred Christian in the book, the actor had zero chemistry with the actress playing Ana, which ruined it for me and he wasn't intense or edgy enough. I still think that if Ian Somerhalder had played Christian, i might have liked the movie and Christian better, he unlike the other actor is better at being dark, sexy and hot.

But at same time, whats the percentage of time we prefer a movie to a book edition? we get more context through the books and can let our imagination do the work.

I prefer neither one of them. He had an awful personality in both, but people seemed to be okay with that because he was hot.

I loved him in the books ( oh the thoughts all us women were having) and I loved him on film, so freaking sexy 😉
My only problems with the movie was the sex was sooooooooooo amazing it distracted you from the story 😢

Christian Grey in the boom is more of a dominant in all aspects...however Christian Grey in the movie portrays soft or slightly dominant type of guys....they are two different characters...but Iike them both....

Books vs their movies
Something I understood a long time ago is that they won't always but everything from the book in or they won't always portray the characters how we invisioned them to be. I do prefer the Christian in the books because in the POV books you got in his head and as reading them you became him. I do like the actor that was choosen but that is just my opinion.

Haven't read the book. In the movie, he's cute though. (Appearance wise)

The one in the movie is okay, however, the one is the book is based on your imagination and what your idea of hot is. So I will always pick my version.

Yes totally agree! I found his whole personality so terrible that I couldn't think of him as being attractive. His behavior constantly trying to control Ana was creepy.

I have read the trilogy. I found it gripping enough to complete all the three books. However, Christian felt more real in the book. I really did not see a dominant Christian in the movie. He was boring, just as much as Anastacia on screen.

I realy like the book than the movie. (For me) aside that some parts in books are not in the movie. Sad but I love the both! It just i already read it before become a movie.
