I have heard it is about suicide and kind of controversial. I hope it includes a positive message :)

Although the series is pretty different from the book in a few areas, I love how they have adapted it. And the further seasons have dealt with so many issues that have never been addressed on the screen before.

I have watched the entire show series and just started on the book. Honestly, I feel like the show is kind of slow and sometimes can be hard to watch because of the content. I just started reading the book and I'm only a few chapters in. So far, it's very similar to the first season of the show. I'm interested to see how they made the show from the book when I'm done.

I personally liked the book better than the series, although I have to agree that the series gave the audience a chance to explore the other characters.

I haven’t seen the latest season. Well, I tried to watch one or two episodes but I never really caught on...I’m still quite traumatized by that bathroom scene !

It's dark but nevertheless interesting. I didn't understand at first but gradually I became to like it.

The series is SAD. Can't even begin to think about reading the book.
Imagine if we had no secrets, no respite from the truth. What if everything was laid bare the moment, we introduced ourselves?

I watched the series but never read the book. I like that it puts a spotlight on bullying, slut shaming and mental health.

The Season should have ended at the first season. Or at most the second season.

I thank Sophia for gifting me the movie for my birthday. It was the best birthday gift I ever received (not like I get them now, lol). But yeah, I love everything about it. The movie just keep getting exciting as each episode comes to an end.

I haven't read the books but I watched the Netflix series. The show covers some very serious issues affecting teenagers and is a must-watch.

I didn't realize it was a book before it was a show. But after the show, I have no interest in ever reading the book.

I didn’t know it was a book neither. Probably, if I hadn’t seen already the show, I would read it but now I’m not sure.
I liked it but didn’t enjoy it (if it makes any sense).

I read the book before the show came out. I definitely preferred the book over the show. I feel that the show definitely missed the mark. They changed too many things around and made some scenes more graphic than they needed to be especially for the targeted audience.
