I was moved and shed a few tears when i read 'A child called It' by Dave Pelzer. It's a biography that depicts child abuse.

Yes, that boy had a horrible childhood. The story is all the more horrible because it's true.

I cried when I watched A Little Princess... twice
The ending still gets to me ten years later. That is one of my favourite adaptations of all time. And the book made me emotional as well.

I always tend to cry every time I watch If I Stay, specifically that scene when her grandpa was talking to her in the hospital. I haven't read the book though.
The first book that made me cry was A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks. Note that I first read the book when I was 14 years old. My godmother suggested it that time because I am reading too many mangas/comics that time and she thought I needed to read a good book.

The Color Purple- When her husband takes her sister away, and when she gets her back. I ball each time lol
Diary of a mad black woman- When the drug addict wife comes into the church singing, get's me!
Fault of our stars- I was expecting it, but man it was touch when it came.
Green Mile- When john coffey dies.
Fast and Furious- Montage for Paul walker at the end.
My Girl- When she sees her bestie in the casket.

God, A Child Called It. I pray there isn't a movie just for my own sanity. One of the most depressing novels I've ever read.

I cried in the first season of GOT at the end when Ned was beheaded. It was just too emotional to see a man of integrity and good morals be slaughtered

I cry every time I read or watch The Last Song. My dad's nickname was Papa Turtle and I had to watch him die of cancer in my living room, so that movie hits me hard.

I definitely cry more with books than with movies. Movies are easier to avoid the emotions by walking away or simply fast forwarding. Books you have to stay and follow through.

I tend to cry for movies, more than i've cried with books. With a movie they use all the movie magic to make you feel for the characters. I usually get upset at a character in a book or feel sad, but it takes a lot to cry.
