I don't understand why it seems like I'm the only one who hated the movie D: I have never read the book though, maybe it would change something.

I haven't read the book but I watched the first part of this series that came out and I loved the film. I'm going to buy the book soon and am eager to watch the second installment of this series.

I have read Fantastic Beasts, but I wasn't a fan. It did not have the same sense of friendship that I had grown use to in the wizarding world, and I did not feel involved in or attached to the story. I think it is hard to connect with the characters, especially when written in a play format. I had the same feelings for the film.

The book is far better than the movie. I have read the book and I have watched the movie as well. I'm sorry for me it was really BORING!

I read Fantastic beasts before I watched the movie, and typically I like books better but in this case I actually liked the movie better. I felt that the characters were accurately cast (some may disagree with me) and it was just an overall good movie!
I am crazy excited at the fact that they are turning the book/movie into a six movie deal. The Harry Potter freak in me is totally freaking out over it! I can’t wait to see how they recreate dumbledore and grindelwald. I’m sure the movies will end at the point where the first Harry Potter movie starts? Maybe? Anyways... loved the book/movie!

The movie is great. I was glued to my screen the entire time. I haven't read the book yet but it sounds awesome. I'll definitely try it.

I haven't read the book but I have seen the movie. It was okay, but for me it pales in comparison to Harry Potter.

The movie was amazing although I personally thought the actor looked like a pretty girl but the magical beings were the mesmerizing aspect of the movie for me

I haven't read the book but the movie was very good. I can only imagine how great the movie will be since books mostly better than the movies.
