I've read the screenplays and watched the movies for both fantastic beasts and I have to say I really loved the first one it did a lot to expand the universe and was filled with whimsy, but man, I just felt sad after watching the second one, I don't think there's anything with getting darker in a series, but those two movies just seemed it needed one more movie/book in between the two we were given

Both of the movies are awesome, I bought the screenplays before I went to see them and it was fun to see it through the actors eyes.

I haven't read the book but the movie wasn't as captivating as the Harry Potter series.

Overall, I think that Fantastic Beasts was a good film. It was entertaining and well-paced throughout the entire thing.

I saw both the first and second FBAWTFT movies, and they were awesome! I think the first one was better than the second one though, the second one just seemed like a filler. There wasn't much action in it, and I'm pretty sure if you skipped watching it, there wouldn't be much to catch up on.

I loved both of the Fantastic Beasts movies. They showed more of the magical world and significant events that happened before Harry Potter came and stole the show. I especially liked seeing a younger Dumbledore.

Sadly, I haven't read all the books yet but I have watched the movie. It was awesome - Eddie Redmayne played the character Newt so perfectly, the effects and visuals were just as good as the Harry Potter films, good dialogue, awesome casting, everything seemed alright so far. Not everything in what I've read played out the same, though this didn't detract in any way from the movie's quality.
