I saw the trailer and hurriedly read the book before the movie came out. Of course the book was better, because it delves a bit deeper into the psychological issues of all the characters. But the movie was well done. Like everyone commenting, I love Emily Blunt. She was early in her second pregnancy while filming, and it was a very physical role. She’s amazing.

This is in my small tbr pile of 5 books at the moment. I heard people talking about it when it first came out, and it was so hard to find. I was actually gifted this book recently.

I read the book because I wanted to read it before I watched the movie. I've finished the book now, but somehow I didn't watch the movie yet. Seems like I forgot!

I read Girl on the Train first and later watched the movie. I prefer book over movie.
