Belladonna of Sadness (1973) is the most unique anime I've ever seen.

My favorites would have to be Charlotte, Angel Beats, Death Parade, Fairy Tail, and many more. I really can't choose just one.

Attack on Titan took me by the horns and didn't let me go! But I am also a big fan of Sailor Moon, the classic one.

Someone after my heart! Rose of Versailles is one of my favorite anime. I was so hype when there was a potential remake teased a few years back, only for it to fall flat and to end with ... some weird pachinko machines? I don't remember.

Beyond that I also love Sailor Moon because it touts FRIENDSHIP, which is my thing on so many levels. Princess Tutu, Princess Jellyfish, Yu Yu Hakusho, Cardcaptor Sakura, Baccano!, Utena ... I love so many series, it's hard to pick an absolute favorite. I suppose my running theme is the magical girl genre, though?

I had no idea they planned a remake. I wouldn't mind if it's well done. I'm not sure if any remake would be better. I'd probably still prefer the original one, even if it's done on 'old fashioned medium'.

Yep, a lot of people were really excited about it! It actually looked pretty decent, but we all found out it was just for pachinko so there was a lot of disappointment to the western fans who didn't get much info beforehand.

There's some clips on youtube of the machine's footage! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzKonCJArAQ

I just had to look up pachinko as I had no idea what that is. It's nice to see Lady Oscar back in different places. Thank you very much for all the info and the link.

Oh boy, you'd be amazed how many products the series is on! Makeup is a very popular thing for products. There's also an all-female theater called Takarazuka Revue that has done a bunch of musical performances of the series.

A musical about Lady Oscar? Or do they sing different songs about the series?
