I have to vote for the movie this time around. It was actually more cinematic than I had created in my head. Plus, I'm a big fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, so that was a no-brainer.

Unpopular opinion but I loved the most recent film adaption of Great Gatsby!!! It made it much more accessible to a modern audience, aptly captured the lushness the book pushes, and was all around lovely. It's a shame half the reviewers seemed to miss the point when it came to Gatsby and Daisy though lol

I think they are relatively different and should be taken on their own. I loved the book and I also enjoyed the movie. The movie made such a spectacle, nobody can say they didn't enjoy it.
