I am looking forward to watching CREED II. It may not be a RAGING BULL or any artistic material, but the Hollywood formula of "ONE MAN AGAINST ALL ODDS" makes it exciting. CREED in particular raised expectations. While not all sequels (barring TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY and THE DARK KNIGHT) have outclassed their prequels, but nevertheless with Sylvester Stallone back(even though just as a mentor) as America's most revered underdog hero makes the film a treat worth. Michael B. Jordan too did a marvelous job in the first film, and has impressed the world at large with his larger than life portrayal of comic book superhero Black Panther. He has the physicality of his on-screen father Apollo Creed & pocesses the presence to take on his to-be Russian rival mentored by none other than Rocky's most ferocious and deadly opponent till date: Ivan Drago (played flawlessly by Dolph Lundgren). It will indeed be a battle of generations coming full circle in the 21st century.

This is a great thread! I am really looking forward to Beautiful Boy. Not going to lie, it is mostly because Tim Chalamet is in it and I loved his performances in Ladybird and Call me by your name. It premieres in January in the UK, so I still have to wait for a few months, but I bet it will be worth it! It's also based on a real story and a book, I believe, which makes me all the more excited. Anyone else waiting for that?

Avengers movie 4... Can't stop thinking about it. I have watched infinity wars 15 times. Even the teasers and trailers can't escape my eyes. I just have to know the ending..... Hell of a cliffhanger...

Looking forward to Mortal Engines and Dumplin'. Both are great books and I didn't imagine Mortal Engines could be turned into something worthwhile because of the difficulty of showing the setting, but hearing Peter Jackson is involved got me excited.
