One of my favorite author's is Janette Oke who has completed many books which became Hallmark movies. What are some of your favorite authors who's books became outstanding movies?

If I'm correct, this is the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice! That was my absolute favorite. I saw the film first and then went back and read the book many times!

Suzanne Collins with The Hunger Games. Her books were good but the movies were great! Well, the first one was the best one in my opinion.

Of course there's the obvious one, J.K Rowling, who probably got most of her money from the many successes of the films.

The Book Thief movie was awful. But the movies by JK Rowling, Tom Clancy, and Stephen King, to mention a few, were great!

The Harry Potter sand Hunger Games movies were both fantastic, and the authors must have made made lot of money from the adaptions. I like when an author stays involved in the movies because then the story remains more authentic. You can tell when they just sign a deal for money and then don't have any input. Which is a shame because it is their work that gets affected

The book that became a great movie was The Fault in Our Stars. The book was fantastic, and so was the movie. I know they can never get the story correct, but I still enjoyed this more than most.

I watched Hidden Figures starring Taraji Henson and Octavia Spencer, and it was excellent. It's about black women who helped NASA scientists and mathematicians put a man into space. I haven't read the book, but I hear it's very good too.
