Most disappointing movie adaptation
Some of the movie-adaptations that were a disappointment to me: Twilight, Battle Royale and Misery.
What about you?

I too went to see Twilight, and I just walked out of the theater half an hour in.
I'm not familiar with Mortal Instruments. Haven't read it or watched it.
Misery? OMG, that movie gives me the creeps. I can't watch it--too intense! But I haven't read the book, so I don't know if it was a good or bad rendition.

Was that the book about Lyla? I haven't seen the movie, but I could not get into the book.bluemel4 wrote:Golden Compass was a poor adaptation. It just tried to cram too much story into a short movie and as a result, a lot of it didn't make sense.
