What's your favorite Harry Potter movie?

Post by Candy1Candy »

I have thought through for a while but I still can't decide on my favourite Harry Potter movie or book. So, what are your favorites and why?

'Goblet of Fire' is my favourite Harry Potter movie. I really enjoyed the Triwizard Tournament with all the challenges.

I loved that most because I got to see so much about Hogwarts. I never would have guessed it had merpeople which was cool.

My favourite HP movie is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I love the actors Gary Oldman and David Thewliss and they really come to life for me as their characters in this movie. Professor Lupin and Sirius Black are two of my favourite characters in the movies, their love for Harry and Sirius's untimely death help to shape Harry's future and bring his strengths to light. I also love werewolves and Lupin's transformation into a werewolf in this movie is a fantastic scene.

Mine would probably be Half-Blood Prince. I think that's when things started to get really dark and serious although there were still elements of school fun, like the whole Cormac thing and the Slug Club. I like how Rowling balanced the maturing of her main trio as they grappled with real world issues while constantly projecting a reminder of their youth.

The first three are very good. But my favorite was the last one. Harry Potter and the Deathly hollows 2. It was a very good end to what was a wonderful series.

Movie: Globet of fire. Really quick, interesting. Or the Deathly hallows II, great battle.
Book: Prisioner of Azkaban. I like what it adds to the storyline.

My favorite book and movie is Prisoner of Azkaban. Sirius is one of my favorite characters, and I love how much we learn about the Marauders in this book/movie.

It has to be the Chamber of Secrets. The acting, the animation, and oh the drama. Absolutely my favourite to watch and re-watch.

Prisoner of Azkaban I think. Sirius Black is such an interesting character, and the way he's introduced is just wow. It's my go to comfort movie.
