I dont keep track of movies. I should, Ive bought some that Ive seen before, usually ones I didnt like.

I am a sucker for the bargain bin of movies that so many stores have now. It is hit or miss with just reading the back and winding up in the end with a good movie. I need to save the $5 and put it towards a movie that I know I am going to enjoy.

I do the same thing. They have a video store with movies from about a dollar to about 5 dollars. Ive bought many that have been real dogs. Theres a place I used to order movies from that had hundreds from the 40's and 50's plus old TV shows for 2 dollars up to 5 dollars. I might start doing that again, at least you know what you are getting. Even those old low budget B movies were better than some of the junk they have now,

So very true. I need to put the bargain hunter on hold and get real value for my money, not just looking at it from a purely economic standpoint. I can get caught up in that much too easy when I get good deals.

Same here. But sometimes a what seems to be a good deal is crap.

Thats for sure. Some of those low-budget B movies are the best.

Some of the best writers are actually in the B movie business. At least they used to be in the past.

Thats how a lot of them started was in those old turkeys. Cant think of any off the top of my head, but Im sure there were a lot of them.

They didnt have the sophistication and modern filming techniques they do now, and a lot of younger people dont have the patience to watch something that was filmed with a couple cameras and no wild special effects. But some of those old dogs were pretty damn good even in this day and age.

Completely agree. Most of today's "A" movies lack originality and are full of overpaid actors and actresses who can't act. I'll take the old B movies. They're still tons of fun to watch.
