I used to have a long list written out in an e-mail I had sent to myself, but it's gone forever now. At this point I just use IMDB. They have great list making tools and it's really easy to just have all of them in a single list once you've given a movie a rating. Part of the reason I adore IMDB so much is because they also have the opportunity to use a to-watch list which I often add movies to and then remove once I've seen and rated them. It's been pretty useful thus far, especially when I wanna rewatch something but don't know what.

Not really. At first I kept the list of the books and stories that I read, but in the end I didn't really continue writing on it.

I actually don't. But that is a good idea to keep a journal. I will look into that.

I don't but I really wish I had, there's a lot of books and movies I have previously read/watched and can't even remember their story line.

I watch many movies but I don't keep track of them. I don't think I ever intend to either because that would just be cumbersome.

Absolutely! Have a list of movies I want to watch and books I want to read. I mark them off (with a + or :-( ) once completed.

I do keep track of movies that I've seen. Every time I go to the movie theater, I keep the little movie stub you get. I started doing this three years ago. I'm not really sure why I do it. I used to do a similar thing with books. After I would finish a book, I would write the book's title and author down on a piece of paper then stick it in a jar. It didn't last too long because I'd eventually forget I was even doing it.

I keep track of books because I like to read them again sometimes. Movies? Not so much.

Yeah sure. I do keep track...in my head and some of the movies I discuss on my movie blog https://www.funnyactionmovies.com. I used to write them down in a sort of a film diary but I lost track several years ago.

Of course, I keep internal track of movies. Necessary for reference when gushing or arguing with the friends.

No I don't keep track, but I can recall a number of times I tried to recollect the number of movies I've seen. Funny enough, my list never went beyond thirty.
