What is your favorite movie that was first a play? What movie did you see that you were surprised to find out was a play first?

My favorite play to movie is Stalag 17, but I also love Dial "M" for Murder.

I love the movie 10 things I hate about you, it is like the typical cheesy movie to watch and relax. But then I saw its resemblance to Shakespeare's 'The Taming of the Shrew' and realized it is a modernized version of it. Did not see that one coming.
Imagine if we had no secrets, no respite from the truth. What if everything was laid bare the moment, we introduced ourselves?
