American Horror Story

Post by phonicphoenix »

Each season I have watched of this show I've been very impressed. That being said I'm very partial to Asylum. There is something so intense about all the different plot twists, the characters (Sister Jude ftw), and that creepy opening theme. There were some things that were amiss in Season 2 (such as Kit's story ending) but overall I felt like it was the best fleshed out concept. Season three was also a strong season, but I felt like there was more of a focus on the "flashy" than there was on the characters themselves. How do you guys feel about each of the season? How do they stack in your book?
Now it's all change, it's got to change more
Cause we think it's getting better
But nobody's really sure

My husband made sure I watched every episode even if I had already fallen asleep. He'd wake me up. Kinda made me hate the show but at the same time I like them. All 3 seasons were good.

I love this show!♥
I love that the same actors come back.
It breaks my heart to think that Jessica Lange may be leaving after this season
She is so great. I'm so happy she just won the emmy!
I 've been watching Even Peters since Never Back Down so that's awesome.
I can't wait to see this new season.
Is it mean to say I want them to do vampires though? I actually thought that's what they were hinting at last season. Oh well.
I also REALLY want to see a nice creepy fay season come from this show!
Anyone else want to see some scary faeries?

I have never seen it, but it is one of those that I might catch some on Netflix to see how I like it. :)

LOVE this show... I have see the first season on Netflix...I (think) I missed the second one...I know I didn't see the third, but I am currently watching the fourth and I have even got my boyfriend into it...so much so that he wants to buy the other seasons so we can watch them all. I really hope its not true that Jessica wants to leave the show after this season...There NEEDS to be more seasons going forward

Tell me about it!
Jessica is amazing in this show!
Seasons two and three were just as good...
I've watched from the beginning and one of the things I love about it are the hints in each season to what the next season will be about. I love how it feels like you're participating.
And I'm still hoping for fairies!

Not that much actually. Whenever I hear the title, I think of American Gothic for some reason though. But I DO know that they are different shows.

I love how the seasons aren't continuous, and instead offers a new set of characters, theme, and just overall feel. I enjoyed the first season and found it to be the scariest, but I think my fav would have to be the third season. Coven was more of an easy watch, the characters were funny and sassy, especially emma roberts. . But i'll have to admit that i didn't finish season 2 (asylum) because it was so dark and twisted and it didn't really grab my attention. That being said, i'm excited for season 4 and have high hopes!
