My sister is a complete book worm and that's the reason why Belle is her favorite princess.

I absolutely loved the movie Anastasia, however later learned that she did not qualify as a Disney princess since the movie was produced by Fox. But seeing as Disney recently merged with, and now owns, all 20th Century Fox content she is finally (technically) a Disney princess! Another favorite princess of mine is Mulan and Rapunzel :)

Belle from Beauty and the Beast DEFINITELY. For a number of reasons.
1) She loved to read.
2) She was an independent woman considering the era she lived in.
3) Belle fell in love with Beast's heart, not his face.
I love Belle :D

I think when I was younger, it was definitely between Ariel and Mulan. Ariel because I love love the ocean and Mulan because she was so cool, kicking all those guys butts. I love Tiana and Rapunzel from the newer queens.

Merida from the movie named brave. I loved her character, how she makes her own path in life and wants to live her life according to herself.

I don't know for sure, but I'd guess Ariel. I like the red hair and her being a mermaid makes her stand out.
