Like some people have said all ready I too cry hard when reading books. For some reason I cry at every book that I read unless I really don't like the book. Movies are hit or miss. Sometimes the movies are still gut wrenching as books but a lot of times they fall a bit flat.

Yeah absolutely, I did when I was young/kid. I think I am still very impressed by some Turkish and Iranian movies. There have been strong feelings which affect us deeply.

I haven't read yet "the Fault in Our Stars". And I don't remember having read a book which made me cry, but there are definitely some movies which made me teary eyed. The latest of these is Beauty and the Beast. Especially when the Beast died and Beauty was crying. I was teary-eyed too. It was a very good remake even if I already read the book and watched the original animated cartoon beforehand to the point that I already know what will happen.

I cried when I saw the movie Me before You. It was a great movie but with a sad ending.

Book or movie doesn't matter. I am a real softie when it comes to sentimental stuff. So I always have a box of tissues in my purse for the very purpose.

Oh my...theres this whole list of mine. The fault in our stars is one. I thought I will cry less if I try the movie but I was wrong. And the iranian movie- children of Paradise.. It's a movie that shows the love and sacrifices of two children and it stayed in my mind for years. And I for one will also suggest korean movies since they have this intense portrayal of emotions like the movie -A moment to remember, Wedding dress, The hearty paws (this one just literarlly destroyed my heart). Another one is the Thai movie - She's dating the gangster and a hindi film -Tare Zameen par ( this movie conveys a social message and the little boy in it has done a splendid job in making me cry like crazy )

Intouchables was quite touching, both the novel and the movie. Even though the movie is a mix of laughter and tears, it makes you think about what you should really appreciate in life, such as health and friendship.

The fault in out stars has me sobbing! I cried reading the book Allegiant, but not the movie. I cried throughout the harry potter books and the movie (= I tend to cry more reading than watching. But sometimes, both! (=

I cried while reading John Fowles - The Collector. Maybe because the end was so unfair

Yes I do, but it depends on the actor/actress and the story line. They have to be really believable. Who can not cry while watching /reading Les Miserables?
