DO YOU KEEP TRACK OF MOVIES YOU SEE?

Welcome to Films and Books Forum, the place to chat about movies, post movie reviews, compare a book to its film adaptation, discuss what makes a good book-to-film adaptation, and suggest books which you think would make a great movie adaption.

Oh definitely I keep a list. I have a note pad on my phone that I keep all the tv shows I watch and want to see. IMDB is a great tool for movies and shows to keep track and rate.

Is it actually possible to keep track of all the movies watched? Unless you don't watch lots of movies. But a less than average music follower can't remember

For a long time I did not keep track of the movies I watched. Around a year ago I discovered Letterboxd and have used it consistently since. I am a huge statistics nerd so I love finding out how many movies from one country I have seen or what my average rating for a certain director is. Letterboxd is also a great place to discover new movies. Whether it’s highly acclaimed ones or niche ones that are a part of your favourite genre. I also like being able to look back and see how much time I have spent watching movies (hint hint it is typically a lot).

Not at all. But I feel like it's something I should start doing now. I have a short memory so it'll really help.

No, I do not keep track of the movies that I have seen. If enough time passes, I can even watch them again.

Nope, once I've seen it I'm done, and I don't even watch movies as much.

Oh yes I keep track of movies infact I love doing that. There are movies I have seen before but don't wanna let go of. It may sound crazy but most times I feel connected to them 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

No, I do not. I don’t see much point in doing that.

I don't keep a record of movies I've watched since it's much easier to remember them. I have a journal where I record every book I read.

I wish I could keep track, it's like my brain refuses to retain any additional information I won't need. Once I finish a movie I couldn't tell you the name of it or who was even in it.

I absolutely keep track. I have seen so many, I sometimes need a way to double-check if I truly haven't seen a film or just don't remember it. :)

i though i was alone in this. i am glad i have found fellow movie trackers. my sister used to call me weird for keeping a list of the movies i have watched.
