My favorite comfort food - hot roast beef sandwich, a.k.a., the "blue plate special." French onion soup is a close second.

That sounds delicious!! I have never heard it called that before. Is this a special at a restaurant near you?

Typically my favorite comfort food is good Asian food. Not talking simple chinese take out, but the really good stuff. I had a friend as a child whose parents were from Thailand and China and the food in their home was AMAZING. It never failed to cheer me up or make me feel better and somehow that has stuck with me.

When I think of comfort food, I think about peach cobbler, nachos, macaroni and chesse, fried chicken smothered in brown gravy, mashed potatoes loaded with butter and bacon with a sprinkle of cheddar chesse on the top. These classics make me roll my eyes back in my head in pure delight. I'm getting hungry thinking about all my favorites... 😆

Pasta, it's too easy to make and doesn't take much time.

Eggs in any form. My favorite is soft-boiled eggs. I also like candied walnuts. I pretty much just boil up some sugar water, toss in some walnuts, and cook them up as a snack for later.

:D My comfort food is always chocolate! There is absolutely nothing better than this. Chocolate ice cream, cake, candy, pie, and even gravy. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

My comfort food totally changed in college to sushi. I moved from a small southern town to big city Columbus, Ohio, and got the chance to try hundreds of foods that I'd never been exposed to. The only problem now is that I'm pregnant, need my comfort food, and am not allowed to have it.

Noodles are my comfort food. I love all styles and cuisines of noodles. From pho to ramen and everything in between. The warmth in the noodles feels like a long lasting hug.
