I currently use some plastic, but I am trying to move towards more glass storage. I just feel bad throwing out plastic containers if it can still be reused somehow.

I use a lot of plastic Tupperware although all of it is, of course, reusable and I’ve had them for many years. I think I shy away from glass ones due to them being a bit more fragile (and plastic just seems easier in my opinion). I know we should be cutting back on plastic use, but as all my containers are not single-use I won’t be replacing them immediately.

We don't have money to buy glassware, so we use plastik even though we know that its unhealthy.

Well unfortunately yes and I'm not going to lie that is it impossible to replace them all, because the men in my house reject caring glass tappers.

I still use plastic containers for food storage and it seems impossible to replace them with fragile glass containers.

My husband and I use plastic out of convenience. I much prefer our glass containers the majority of the time, but our stock is limited. Even when cooking, I opt for stainless steel mixing bowls. I also believe glass and metal get cleaner, which is probably just my own paranoia as a chemist.

I love the convenience and safety of plastic over glass and am an avid Tupperware user! So long as dangerous BHA and BHT chemicals aren't being used, I don't see the harm.

Whenever I am checking the taste of the dish I have prepared, I use plastics. This I put into practice by subtracting a small amount especially for dishes like fried Irish potatoes.A perfect excuse to taste the dish first before anyone else does.

Yes, I have heard the cancer scares too. But I still use plastic a lot, just because it is so convenient. And my husband is often like a "bull in a china shop" when it comes to rummaging through the refrigerator. My fear of him dropping something stored in glass is enough to keep us in plastic for awhile.

I try hard not to use plastics and to educate my family on its dangers they just don't wanna hear it and they think I'm paranoid which I'm not.

I have heard this too and we use a lot of plastic containers in our kitchen. Trying to replace them with metal and glass.

While I understand the dangers of using plastic, glass bowls with lids are ridiculously priced, phasing out the plastic is pretty expensive but healthy. Everything does come with a price tag I guess
