I am a widow, and am currently single (happily), so at this point in my life, I am cooking what I like (or my kids), and not for a significant other.

This is so true about me too though I enjoy cooking too but I also appreciate been fed with good food by someone else other than me.PlanetHauth wrote: ↑03 May 2018, 04:30 I imagine the saying is true for some, and not true for others. I know it's true for myself. If you feed me, particularly when I'm hungry, you'll quickly become my best friend.

Maybe that just means I'm not the best cook though, it's true I don't make much but that's alright.

1 large potato, chunks

I know when my mom met her boyfriend he fell in love with her cooking; his wife hadn't done anything like that when they were married so it meant a lot to him that she spoiled him. His favorite is her salmon patties. She just gets canned salmon, molds it into a patty, gets it covered in bread crumbs, and fries it in a skillet. It makes the whole house smell like fish, but it's soo good.
