We rarely eat an appetizer at home, but will occasionally dip garlic bread in a mix of olive oil, pepper and parmesan cheese. When I eat out with friends, I love to order an appetizer especially if there are several of us that will be sharing it. And fried cheese or chips and dip are my favorites.

I always am tempted by appetizers when I am at a restaurant. I love potato skins and buffalo wings. At home, I don't even think of having an appetizer. I consider it a treat when I go out.

I never have an appetizer when I am having meals at home. Cooking and smelling the food for 2 hours before eating is appetizer enough for me already. When I go out though, and when I can afford, I will have something like wings, sushi, cheeseballs for appetizer. I fill up so fast so I don't like eating much before my main meal.

I love an appetizer called “nachos.” It is comprised of chips and sauces, and vegetables. It indeed appetizes me before a heavy meal.

Appetizer are small meals or beverages that are typically served before a meal to promote appetite. Shrimp with cocktail sauce, veggies and dips, cheeses, and fruits were among my favorite appetizers.

I don't eat an appetizer at home. But when I go to a gathering, I like to bring one. A good one to try is shrimp dip. Spread cream cheese on a plate. Then spread a layer of cocktail sauce. After that, spread a layer of bay shrimp. Serve with Wheat Thins. It's always a hit!

I like to bring a big veggie tray with freshly chopped vegetables. I include carrots, celery, snap peas, cauliflower, red and yellow peppers, cherry tomatoes, and 2 cold artichokes. Most people like ranch dressing and hummus for dipping.
