My husband was vegan and only recently stopped. Pancakes without eggs can be pretty good if you have the right recipe. Try looking for a recipe with bananas or applesauce.

I have tried cooking pancakes without eggs but I used full cream milk and of course baking powder to rise a little, of course it's not the same taste with eggs but still yummy though.

I've tried cooking pancakes without eggs, it's tasty but not as fluffy compared with pancakes with egg.

I've never tried this, but I've heard that bananas make good replacement for eggs in pancakes? As in, one very ripe banana for every egg in the recipe, I think, according to a vegan friend. I've had banana pancakes before and those were really good, so I might try this out and see how it goes.

I never thought I have the same bunch of people here who did the same thing as I did. This topic is eye opening! Haha! Well, I did try to cook pancakes without adding egg on it and it tasted really really funny! And from then on, I decided not to forget buying eggs so that I can put it up on my pancakes :lol2:

I really don't think the recipes I find for pancakes usually have eggs. But, I rarely make them.

I haven't tried it with pancakes but I know tapioca starch can be used as an egg substitute in baking

I think that applesauce works best as an egg replacement.
