cooking improves food texture. As for me,there are some vegetables i prefer to be fully cooked and some half cooked. For instance, cabbages, spinach, lettuce to be half cooked then, carrots, cucumbers,to be fully cooked.

Half cooked vegetables are better for your body. When food is cooked, the nutrients are killed. As a matter of fact, raw vegetables are the best.

I like half cooked veggies it just preserve all the nutrients we can get from the vegetables but for our grandpas and grandmas it is harder to digest they chose to soften it so it will be easier for them to chew.

As far as preference goes, I think it all depends on the vegetable itself and how it is to be eaten. Nutritionally, partially cooked is better as many of the nutrients are lost in the steam. If fully cooked is desired, steam (if possible) in a covered pot (as opposed to boiling) and save the cooking liquid to be used in other things (like in soup) to lose as few nutrients as possible.

Half cooked. I grew up not eating the grey soggy things that were supposedly vegetables which my grandma lovingly prepared each night.I didn't know vegetables could be bright band crunchy until I met my husband and he cooked for me!

In my opinion, I believe that fully cooked vegetables are better because it is good for our health and we easily digest them.

Half cooked vegetables contain more of the nutrients.

It is not good to cook vegetable for a very long time because doing that may render the vegetable useless by losing much of it nutrients
