I'll give you a Grilled Cheese recipe. Simple and yummy. I don't use measured amounts much...
ingredients
2 slices of bread (your choice)
butter
slices of cheese (your choice, I use cheddar/muenster/american)
Toast the bread slices, both sides. While waiting for the bread to toast, get a pan and heat it up. Add butter to glaze the pan. When the toast is done, butter both sides. assemble the cheese slices in the sandwich. Place the sandwich in the pan. When the side of the sandwich on the pan is golden brown (after 1-2min) flip to fry the other side. When the sandwich is done, set on a cutting board or plate to cool. Give it a minute, that cheese is molten. When it cooled, slice it and serve.
additions:
you can season the butter for a more flavorful sandwich crust.
you can add fillings with the cheese: ham, tomato, etc.
