At What Age Did You Start Cooking Food?

At the age of 5, cooking big dinners and breakfasts for my family by age 11.

I have last memory when I was 8 old, at the first time have fried chicken egg for my lunch, nice and then I was addicted fried it like as my favorite breakfast or lunch.

Well i used to watch my grandma and mom cook from a very young age, and by the time I was 10 I was making full breakfasts for everyone in the family.

Growing up I always watched my mum cook and got fascinated the way it always turned out delicious. So at age 16 I went into varsity and I had to start cooking myself because I was too shy to eat out.

I honestly ain't sure at what age, probably 7 or younger. In my culture women and girls are in charge of the kitchen. I'd spend all my time around my mother after school, so at some point I started helping her out. My first meal was Chapatis an Indian/East African dish. A tough meal to cook for a beginner but they came out OK.
