From Spanish to Chinese to Mexican and cubin to pastries and pies butters and herbs spices and soul food the list goes on lol :eusa-think:

I started at 9 experimenting with things like vegetables and soups. My mom wouldn't let me bake but I loved baked goods. Now I'm a Pastry Chef lol.

I made cookies and brownies from about six or seven with my parents, but didn't start really cooking until about 15 or so.

I believe I made my first "meal" at the age of 10. Both of my older siblings would have been involved in college or extra-curricular activities, and my parents worked. so there were small meals to make for myself and my younger sister.

I started learning how to cook when I was 6 years old, I can still remember it clearly, the first dish my grandmother taught me to prepare was scrambled eggs and buttered toasts. Yummy!

I started at a young age as well, I'm willing to say approximately 10. My dad always told me that he wanted me to be able to take care of myself once I was old enough and moved out. As an adult now, I see so many people that can't even prepare a simple meal, and it's sad to me. Everyone should know the basics. I even enjoy it.

I started at the age of 10. That's when my mom got pregnant with my sister and due to complications, she was in the hospital for more than a week. Dad had to shuttle between work, hospital, my school, home, so I thought it is better I made myself useful.
