My husband was never one to work too hard on a meal before we started dating. He would open a can of beans and just toss it back. I love cooking and baking and now he loves me doing it, too. I listen to audio books while I do things in the kitchen and it makes it that much more enjoyable. Plus, we're bargain shoppers so we save A LOT of money cooking at home.

If I have much free time I will cook for the family, it is a nice feeling to know that there's someone appreciates my cooking, or if there has to be improved then I am very much open to some inputs or ideas, and so I rely mostly on cook books or I watch cooking shows on tv.

I am a wife and mother of 3. Our entire family sits down at least 4-5 days a week and eats a home cooked meal that I prepared. The kids help me set up for dinner or cook and my husband helps me clean up after. It's something I have always insisted on and I feel like it really brings us together as a family keeping us grounded, humble, and close knit.
