I'd say about 7-8. I actually love cooking and trying new things, but the only thing that holds it back from being a few points higher is the lack of time to spend cooking like I would want.

I will give myself 7. I know I am a great cook, but I am not as good as my elder brother. I can score him 10.

I'd say my cooking skills are at a 7, but my cooking interest is at a 4. I'm good at cooking, I just don;t necessarily enjoy doing it!

I'd give myself a 7, I like cooking, (I stay with really great chefs so it kind of grows on you). I know I am good in the kitchen, I like trying out new dishes and different herb and spice mixtures, but I am not the kind that will want to make their own cook book or go out of my way to create signature dishes :D :D , that's reserved for the 8 and above!!

I totally understand. :D Maybe that's because you're a guy? Although I know some guys that really love to cook.

Then possibly, you got some sisters or friends that do cook for you too. But 4 is encouraging though. I'm sure some are still at 1

I give myself an 8. I love cooking and I hope to get better day by day.

I would say an 8. I like cooking and trying out new recipes, but I am definitely a recipe-follower. I can get stressed out if something is doing what it's supposed to or isn't turning out right. My husband is a 10 in the kitchen. He can throw something together randomly and it is always amazing!

Haha... That'll be a 4. I'll consider myself a very lazy cook. Unless it's obligatory or I'm hungry, of course.

I love cooking and try my best to ensure whatever food I prepare is tasty enough. I rate myself 8 out of 10.
