I would say maybe a 6. I enjoy cooking at times and am usually pleased with how the recipes come out. But when I think of the gourmet cooks and the cooking channel chefs- I'm not even close.

My interest is 10. But skills maybe 6. There are so many different techniques in different cuisines. I am still learning.

I'm at a 7 for skill and probably a 1 for interest. I can follow recipes and make things, but I just don't like to.

I am definitely a 10. I love to cook, to tweak recipes and create my own. Love to bake too.
I've always been a foodie. :)

This might sound ironic. But my interest in cooking is 0 on a scale of 0-10. But my skills are around 7. I absolutely hate to be in kitchen, but when I do cook, it turns out to be surprisingly good. Especially, fish curry.

I'd give myself a negative score. I'm so bad at cooking even if I'm doing everything the youtube video says exactly as it is.

I'd say I'm around a 7-8, I have good knowledge of flavours and combinations, and I can make a dish from scratch without a recipe... but I would definitely say I have a lot of room for improvement. It's all a learning experience after all!

I need to up my skills a lot to reach chef status!

I would say a six as well - I'm not really a big eater/interested in learning new things, but what I do cook I think I cook very well.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” HST
