I would scale myself 3 for interest in cooking. I cook only when I like it and let me tell you its is very rare
For my skills I would settle for 4. I may think that I am the MasterChef while cooking but the end results prove otherwise.

I'll give myself a 7 because I'm not really a fan of cooking but due to experience and observation, I know how to cook at least all basic meals and they come out as tasty!

I'll rate myself a 8 out of 10. I know how to cook well and I'm usually interested to learn new cooking methods. However, there are foods that I struggle with till now.

My cooking interest is definitely a 10. I would say my cooking skills are at around an 8. I love to cook and I love food even more , I just hardly cook because I'm really lazy and I hate doing all the manual prep before the actual cooking

My other half and I watch quite a bit of cooking shows so I'd put myself at a 5. I'm not a beginner who doesn't know how to cook rice (1st knuckle finger trick works EVERY. TIME.) but I'm also not a 5-star chef. Not all of my food is pretty to look at but boy are they good :D
