I am also from Delta State, Nigeria. Asides banga soup, I love a afang soup with pounded yam or soft fufu.

Jollof rice is amazing when cooked right, (Nigerian jollof rice, to be precise). It tastes sweet, very slightly smoky, and spicy.stoppoppingtheP wrote: ↑06 Sep 2017, 09:13 I have always heard of Jolof rice and it looks so good. Anybody know how this tastes, and how to make it?
In summary, you make a paste out of tomatoes, peppers, and onions, add spices , and fry this paste with little bit of oil.
Then add previously parboiled rice to this paste and cook forsome time.
Simple.

That sounds yummy.Shamha002 wrote: ↑05 Aug 2017, 16:27 I'm from eastern part of Africa in Kenya. I come from the coastal region of Mombasa and here our secret ingredient is coconut.we like almost anything that has coconut in it and my favourite food is coconut grilled fish.its a very tasty dish that you can have with rice, ugali or even a traditional bread known as ‘mofa’.u first have to mix coconut milk with a little bitof tamarind and turmeric and let it cook on medium until it thickens. Then grill the fish on both sides and when its ready pour the paste on the fish and grill for 1 minute then turn the other side, repeat the step.server while warm.
