The last thing I made was cookies. If it would have worked out I would have made mini pretzels but I was in a hurry and messed up that day and gave up

I made pan cakes. Cooking is what I love doing and everything I make is from scratch.

Baked potato soup. It's my favorite autumn recipe and I make a big pot that lasts for several meals. Baked potatoes, bacon, mushrooms, cheese, served with a side of fresh French bread. Yum!

I made drop biscuits to go with some homemade beef stew I made in my pressure cooker. They turned out okay, but kneading biscuits seems to make them a lot better.

Coffee - which I suppose is not strictly speaking true as I didn't cultivate the beans, or even ground them, come to that. You may have gathered by now that I am never going to be a domestic goddess :-)

Pinulada AKA struffoli .... this is an Italian Christmas confection. It is really good. You won't find it in any store but every Italian ever born knows what this stuff is. I made a small batch the other day. This stuff is very very addicting. Hard to stop eating it once you start.

Here's the recipe; I added chopped pecan and shaved chocolate to the topping which was our family recipe.

Have you ever read Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day?

It is a great cookbook for easy to make, no knead bread. This book is worth it if you like homemade bread or if you like to experiment in the kitchen.

@CommMayo - excellent tip I'm sure, but I always tend to be a tad cynical about these 5 minute or whatever things!
