Olive oil is definitely healthier though it is more expensive. I would suggest using other options such as vegetable oil if you want a cheaper alternative.

Other vegetable oil options is a good idea but at the Sam time there are different methods of cooking you can use that doesn't necessarily require the use of oil such as steaming, baking or even boiling food.

The healthiest is olive oil I think, but I use any of the above depending on what I'm cooking.

Olive oil may be healthier but I don't like it for high heat cooking or baking cakes or cookies. Grape seed oil is my favorite for frying. Red palm or coconut oil are great substitutes for baking sweets but they do not behave like butter or margarine even though they are solid at room temperature. Your recipes have to be adjusted and they must be melted and treated as oils.

Depends on how you are using it. Olive oil is okay except for deep frying/ high-temperature cooking because it burns easy compared to other oils. Butter is "healthier" than margarine, but PURE butter burns easily too. However, Compound Butter is generally used for cooking.

I think butter and olive oil both are healthy and margarine i guess is not very healthy because of extra chemicals.

I so follow dietician Rujuta Divekar very much. So as per her, I use either oil in minimum quantity but I use cow ghee most which is healthier option.

I believe olive oil is healthier, because it is a plant-derived oil and also unsaturated, hence it is unlikely to contain cholesterol.

Fun fact: cooked (heated up) olive oil has loses its health benefits.

I use olive oil, margarine and butter in my cooking, depending on which fat it appropriate for the dish. Fat is so essential to cooking and can really bring out flavour in a dish- fat is friend when it comes to food! In my opinion all options can be healthy as long as they are used in moderation and appropriately.

I'm no expert, but health-wise olive oil is best. Personally, I like to use coconut oil while frying. It's delicious and non-greasy!

I think olive oil definitely healthier than margarine and butter. If you don't have olive oil use butter.

I prefer olive oil because sometimes butter makes my rice soggy and I always like my rice to stand individually rather than mashed together. So, I will suggest olive oil plus it is healthier!
