Wholewheat or bran rusks, yoghurt, a cup of green tea or water and some ginger snaps. Those are my go to snacks, irrespective of the genre.

I have cup of green tea and snack on soaked chickpeas and peanuts while reading. Taking care of physical health as well while taking care of mental health by reading... :)

I don't normally snack while I read but I do drink coffee and it doesn't change from genre to genre.

I love drinking tea while I read as well - nothing beats a nice cup of tea!! I love eating crisps (or chips in America), and always get a good book a little greasy because I can't stop eating them

I usually drink water or a soda while I am reading. I dont drink anything alcoholic because I like to have full focus on what I am reading. To eat, I absolutely love popcorn! I pop my own deform kernels so I dont have to worry about a lot of grease from the butter or stains in my books.

Most times I don't eat while reading but if I do, I'd love to have myself some cookies and something sweet to drink.
Most times, I fall flat on my face. But never do I remain on the floor; I rise again.

Water because I dislike getting food bits in my book and dislike being distracted. I usually like to do these separately.
Hi all. I like board games, card games, video games, books (especially children's books and mysteries), stories, cartoons, anime, manga, light novels, animation, and other light-hearted, fun things. Feel free to message if you want to chat!

I don't usually eat when I am reading, and I just tend to remember to drink when I happen to caught a glimpse of my tumbler beside me. Sometimes, I prefer popping a mint candy before reading, or having an opened packet of Nova to the sides. But then, I also tend to forget about my Nova, and just start munching them when I am taking a 'book rest'.
Mostly, when I stumble on the part when the author is describing a meal on such a mouth-watering way, and my brain cells are taking double-shifts in the 'imagination department'; then I was like, 'Now, I am hungry..'.
I will take my cue for a 'book rest' and search a food closest to the one that the book just described.

I'm always afraid crumbs will stick in between pages or that I'll spill water over the precious book so I don't eat or drink while reading. It would be nice to have a cup of tea during winter, though. There's nothing better than a good book and tea when it's cold or rainy outside.

I love iced tea or iced chocolate or anything with ice. The weather here always hot and humid. For snack, I prefer peanuts and corn chips. Hmmmm...

If I'm reading an ebook, pretty much anything. But if I'm reading a paper book, something dry like chips because I don't want to accidentally stain the book.
