Today I made a delicious fruit roll for dessert. It is made with meringue with a filling of whipped cream and berries. So good!

I made some peanut butter cookies. The recipe has only three ingredients. 1 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup of sugar and 1 egg. Mix together and drop by spoonful on cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for about 12 minutes. Yummy

I made bread from scratch. I normally bake bread every second day or so, so nothing new for me.

I made chocolate frosting which was fantastic. The recipe is: 3 cups powdered sugar, 1/2 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup margarine or butter, 1/3 cup boiling water and 1 tsp vanilla. You combine the dry ingredients and add the margarine, water and vanilla and beat low until combined. Then let cool for about 20 to 30 minutes.

I also made a Crazy Vanilla cake but it didn't taste that good. I don't know why since I followed the directions. This was the first time making the cake.

I actually had a cooking fail... made some sandwiches for a picnic, got distracted, and forgot to put fillings inside the sandwiches. Butter sandwiches weren't so good so we ended up having a Macdonald's picnic instead.

Won't be making anything yoday, but in the next week I will be making my home made potato soup for sure! Hopefully I'll be able to hide some from my fiancé so I can freeze a bit for a later time! I'm also planning on cooking in bulk the next month or two so we can be stocked up for a while. I'll be making my special chicken burgers, risotto, pizza, and hopefully some perogis if I can find a gluten free recipe that's good enough. Yum!
Be well!

How do you prepare the chicken burgers?
wow..can u share with your special chicken burger recipe?
