I am a Nigerian. I made yam and eggs today. Yam is a tuber food filled with carbohydrate, my portion was small and eggs as we all know is proteinous. I added seasoning, pepper flakes, lots of onions( I love onions😁😁😁 I used a big bulb of onions for just 2eggs) and fried it with vegetable oil. My usual self would have added corned beef, sardine, left over chicken or turkey, sausages or hotdog, mind you all these are either, or... but my lazy and hugry self couldn't go through all that stress.
At the end I ate my food, washed it down with some green tea and I enjoyed it❤❤❤

If you want to try roti/chapati, it's very easy. Flour and water, knead until it gets to that nice, non-sticky stage, then break up into small pieces which are rolled out, sprinkled with whatever flavourings you desire, and heated in a dry pan. You don't need to fry them, just let them lie in a hot pan and flip them every now and then until you're happy. They won't burn as long as you keep an eye on them. If you get them thin enough, they might kinda balloon up whilst cooking, which is a good sign (this freaked me out tremendously at first).
Thank you for the tips, I'll try roti/chapati next weekend. The problem with the lentil dish was that it incorporated garlic and yogurt with the lentils. The yogurt didn't dissolve smoothly...almost like it curdled.

I love trying new recipes! I made a honey challah bread yesterday and it turned out so tasty! I've made challah bread several times before but never with honey. I don't think I'll ever make it without honey again!
