I enjoy the online recipes. I just started to really get into cooking and baking this year thanks to Pinterest. I like how it shows you picture of how to do it for learning. I also like having the app on my phone because when I go to the store sometimes I might change my mind on what I want to buy. I can just look the recipe up to help me from my phone.

I personally like both. Just as long as I make the recipe, that's all that matters to me.

I love the idea of cookbooks and have a few of my own, but I look up recipes online more often than looking them up in a cook book! I do write recipes down though that I make up in my own cookbook.

Often times, I will look up a recipe online. I then accumulate all the recipes for that one item and sort of combine them to how I think it would taste the best. I get people asking me how I made something, but most of the time I don't know because I hodge-podged the recipe and didn't write it down. I also have one cookbook (referred to in my family as "The Cookbook" because everyone has it: every aunt, uncle, cousin, sibling, grandparent. It's almost like a "coming of age" gift) This book has a lot of recipes in it that I grew up with and has recipes from my ethnic background. It's full of comfort foods, so I'll turn to it if I'm craving something specific.

My mother enjoys cooking books, but I often just go through recipes online if I am looking for something new. However, that does not mean that I don't enjoy going through a cookbook from time to time to enjoy the delicious looking picture of food and possibly come across a recipe that looks good.

I use both for inspiration. I have over 30 cookbooks, and enjoy cooking. But it's also pretty handy to scroll through my tablet for recipes I can't find in my books... I think cookbooks will one day be gone, and I'm ok with that. Frankly, some of my cookbooks were printed with recipes that just weren't good. If I'd seen 10 review saying, "Not good", I could have saved myself some ingredients! ;)

I have a lot of cook books but sometimes it is just easier to quickly look up a recipe online. Especially since I can look up a recipe with substitute ingredients if I don't already have them all in my kitchen. Also - free.

I have several cookbooks and I do use them for some of my favorite recipes. However, I really enjoy using Pinterest for my recipe searches. I have found a ton that have become family favorites and the convenience of being able to Pin them to one location for easy access is fantastic.

I still use my old trusty Better Crocker cookbook someone gave me when I left for college. It has some great basic recipes (best pizza dough ever) and I also use it to store shared and printed out recipes. My second source is always Allrecipies.com. I have the iPad app which is nice to use while cooking. If I can't find anything good on all recipes, I usually just do a google search.
